Hosting
The Platform is hosted on infrastructure operated by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in regions selected for reliability and security. Domain name services are administered through accredited registrars with DNS managed in accordance with Nigerian and international technical standards.
Regulatory compliance
Tasko processes personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation 2019, and NDPC guidance. Consumer-facing practices align with the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018. Electronic transactions and communications may also be subject to the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act 2015. Tasko does not provide legal, tax, or financial advice; users should seek professional counsel where needed.
Payment services
Card and bank payments are processed by licensed third-party payment service providers. Tasko facilitates escrow and payout workflows but is not a bank. Availability of payment methods may vary by location and partner rules.
Intellectual property
The Tasko name, logo, product design, and website content are protected by copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorised reproduction or commercial use is prohibited. Third-party marks (e.g. Google Play, App Store) belong to their respective owners.
Liability for content
User-generated job posts, chat messages, and specialist profiles are the responsibility of the users who create them. Tasko moderates where required by law or policy but does not endorse user content. Report unlawful content to help@tasko.ng.
