- After you mark the job complete, Tasko releases payment following a short grace period. Specialists withdraw to their bank via Paystack Transfer.
- What if the work isn't done properly?
- Report a problem before confirming completion. Our ops team can mediate and process full or partial refunds.
- Is my address shared publicly?
- Your exact address is shared only after you hire a specialist — not when you post a job.
- What does verification mean?
- Specialists can optionally verify identity with NIN, ID card, and face scan. It's not required to join, but clients can filter for verified pros.
- How are payments secured?
- Checkout runs through Paystack (card, bank transfer, USSD). Tasko Pay holds funds in escrow until you confirm completion. We never ask you to pay a specialist directly in cash for platform hires.
- What data does Tasko collect?
- Account info, job details, chat messages, and payment references needed to run the marketplace. Card and bank details are processed by Paystack — not stored in full by Tasko. See our privacy policy for the full list.
- Can I delete my account or data?
- Contact help@tasko.ng with your request. We handle deletion and export requests in line with our privacy policy and applicable Nigerian data-protection requirements.
- How long do disputes take?
- Ops assigns a dispute within one business day. Resolution depends on evidence from both sides — most cases are reviewed within a few business days.
- What happens if a specialist asks for cash?
- Off-platform payment requests in chat are flagged. Stay on Tasko Pay so escrow protection and dispute resolution apply to your hire.
- Is Tasko available outside Abuja?
