This Cookie & Local Storage Policy explains how Tasko uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies on our websites and apps.
1. What we use
Tasko uses:
- Essential session tokens and authentication cookies needed to keep you signed in securely.
- Local storage for preferences (theme, city), draft job data, and app state.
- Security and fraud-prevention signals (device/app diagnostics) as described in our Privacy Policy.
2. What we do not do today
The public marketing site (tasko.ng) does not load third-party advertising or analytics cookies. Payment card data is entered on Paystack-hosted checkout, which has its own cookies and privacy terms.
3. Your controls
You can clear site data in your browser or uninstall the app. Blocking essential storage may prevent login or job posting. For privacy rights under the NDPA, see https://tasko.ng/privacy or email help@tasko.ng.
4. Changes
If we add non-essential cookies (for example analytics), we will update this page and provide consent controls where required by law.
